Caston Sovey is passionate about technology in education, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity. Caston is of the opinion that AI is a driving element in reshaping education by making learning more productive and individualized. Caston is a learner of AI in education and its progress, learning constantly about ways technology can support students and educators. Caston is also learning new technologies hands-on while being an IT mentee. Through this program, he is studying in-depth about AI solutions and how they can be used in various industries. His project is on learning solutions using AI, studying ways technology can enhance learning for students and narrow gaps in understanding. He is interested in utilizing AI in making learning individualized and in maximizing learning outcomes.In addition to his mentorship, Caston is a Student Ambassador and ASB president, working in partnership with leaders and educators all over the country on reengineering today's school system. He is committed to understanding ways technology can enhance learning, make learning more engaging, and provide new opportunities for students. His efforts go beyond AI, tackling wider education issues of accessibility, engagement, and creativity in an attempt to create a system of support for all learners. As a high school student graduating in 2027, he is actively collaborating with a network of educators all over the country, helping forge a new type of education system utilizing creative, cutting-edge solutions. Caston is ever on the lookout for new ways of extending and improving learning—whether in technology, industry partnerships, or in research. He is passionate about discovering creative, effective solutions for revolutionizing the education system. With his studies in AI and cybersecurity, Caston continues to apply his experience and learning in making a lasting, positive impact on the education system.
