The Social Good Network: How Rising Generations Elevate Dialogue and Democracy with Technology

Last year, the Aspen Institute launched the Center for Rising Generations. This unique and innovative Center, led by Kaya Henderson, was established to ensure that young people in our society and around the world have the opportunity and tools to dialogue, connect, lead, and act. The Center for Rising Generations represents a new strategic priority for the Aspen Institute, one focused on co-creating with youth and young adults, building a network of youth and youth-serving organizations, and elevating youth voice.
Through this panel discussion, Kaya will introduce the audience to young people who are using technology to build networks of informed and engaged voters; to help people gain access to aid during climate disasters and public health crises, and create ecosystems of global changemakers. Perhaps most importantly, attendees will have the chance to witness the power and potential of young people first hand.
