Tara O'Brien

Tara O’Brien has over a decade of experience in education, bringing elementary teaching expertise to the TUSD EdTech Team. She taught at a Title 1 school, supporting students from diverse socioeconomic, cultural, neurodivergent backgrounds, and English Language Learners. Tara served on multiple district committees and supported district initiatives. She also instructed graduate students at the Alder Graduate School of Education. For the past three years, Tara has been a TUSD EdTech Teacher on Special Assignment (TOSA), working with colleagues to integrate technology in education, promoting equity and access to curriculum, instruction, and assessment for TK-12.
