Stepful

Sarah Favreau is Vice President of Workforce Solutions at Stepful, the #1-ranked EdTech company in the U.S. (TIME, 2025), where she leads the company’s work partnering with healthcare organizations to build sustainable pipelines of certified clinical talent — helping them close critical staffing gaps through accelerated, accessible training programs for clinical roles across allied health and nursing. Sarah has spent nearly two decades working at the intersection of workforce development, education, and employer-driven talent strategy — from advising employers on designing workforce solutions to leading the go-to-market teams that bring them to scale. At Guild Education, she advised Fortune 500 employers on large-scale workforce reskilling. At General Assembly, she helped scale enterprise upskilling initiatives, helping major employers reskill and redeploy talent at scale. Earlier in her career, Sarah was a leader in McKinsey & Company’s social sector practice with a focus on education and workforce. During that time, she served on the founding team that launched Generation — a McKinsey-founded global youth employment & reskilling nonprofit — where she served on the global leadership team, built programs across five countries, and helped train and place more than 10,000 adults into jobs in under two years. Sarah began her career as a Teach for America teacher in the South Bronx and later served as a Director at the NYC Department of Education. She holds an MBA from Columbia Business School. She lives in the New York metro area with her husband and three children.
