Stand Together Trust

Raphael Gang is committed to transforming education by investing in the infrastructure that empowers families, educators, and entrepreneurs to create impactful learning experiences. In his role as Program Officer at the Stand Together Trust (STT), he supports the development of a dynamic education ecosystem through initiatives such as loan funds, alternative accreditation pathways, and reforms that reduce barriers for new models to emerge and succeed. Prior to joining STT, Raphael worked at 4.0 Schools, a national incubator for early-stage education ventures, where he led the development of alumni programming for fellowship graduates, built partnerships to support founders piloting new school, program, and service models, and recruited cohorts of fellows to explore bold ideas in education. Earlier in his career, he helped launch and implement Louisiana’s statewide school voucher program, oversaw charter school authorization and accountability, and shaped policy to expand educational choice at the Louisiana Department of Education. A former elementary school teacher, he has also held leadership roles in two school networks. Raphael is currently focused on creating the financial, regulatory, and relational conditions that make it possible for education innovators to design and launch transformative learning opportunities for all children. As a father of two young children, Raphael believes strongly that if we want a future of learning that is for all children, we need to build it.
