Raghav has 19 years of experience leading strategic and commercial functions across global markets. He currently serves as Director of Strategy at Oxford University Press, overseeing the global Education portfolio. Previously, Raghav spent 14 years at Pearson, holding leadership roles across the PreK-to-Gray learning spectrum, specialising in strategy, corporate development, and commercial finance. As VP and Head of Corporate Strategy, he collaborated with executive leadership and the board on strategic planning, defined long-term growth strategies, refined direct-to-consumer initiatives, led portfolio optimisation reviews, and established the corporate strategy function. Additionally, he led Commercial Finance and Strategy for the Europe & Africa and Middle East divisions, serving as a key member of their leadership teams. In India, Raghav played a pivotal role in establishing the Corporate Finance & Strategy function, driving business development, and advancing inorganic growth initiatives. Prior to Pearson, Raghav worked with PwC and Grant Thornton in various advisory roles, based in London. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and holds a B.A. (Hons) in Accounting and Finance from Lancaster University.
