Dr. Patrick Gittisriboongul has over 20 years of experience in information and educational technology as an educator and professional. Currently, he serves as the Assistant Superintendent of Technology and Innovation for Lynwood Unified School District. Previously, he was the Assistant Superintendent of Innovation at the San Diego County Office of Education, where he led initiatives in career technical education, educational technology, professional learning, and data science. At Lynwood, Dr. Gittisriboongul spearheads the district's Digital Equity initiative and oversees digital learning and IT systems. He recently launched an AI Taskforce, bringing together educators and administrators to explore strategies for integrating AI technologies into classrooms. His previous roles include Director of Educational Technology and Information Services at Huntington Beach Union High School District and various leadership positions at Montebello Unified School District. Dr. Gittisriboongul began his career as a mathematics teacher and also has private sector experience as a web and software developer. He earned his Doctorate in Educational Leadership from USC in 2013 and holds additional degrees from Cal State Los Angeles and Cal Poly Pomona.
