Nirmit Parikh is a man on a mission to empower the rising workforce of India and continuously solve an earth scale problem like unemployment with the use of technology. With a decade of experience in companies like Apple and Intel, he is now a serial entrepreneur who has created impactful and profitable enterprises. In his latest venture as a social-preneur, he has formulated the idea of a networking platform for the dynamic workforce of India.Nirmit’s first start-up was at the age of 21 called, Incone Technologies, which specialized in damautomation to control floods and eliminate the devastation caused by flash floods. His work in this arealed to his presence in the World Economic Forum as a Global Shaper. He also founded Cruxbot – aplatform that summarized websites – which was acquired by Kno and then Intel. This new developmenttook him to Silicon Valley as Intel's Director of Data Analytics. From there, he went on to work for Applein the product and strategy team.Even after working with Fortune 500 companies, Nirmit decided to return to India in hopes of changingthe landscape of the hiring sector. His aim with Apna has been to empower India's workforce by helpingthem build a digital professional identity and create a community to meet like-minded people. The apphas created a massive impact by uplifting the careers of millions of people and subsequently raising theirstandard of living.
