
Moses A. Ojeda is the Principal of Thomas A. Edison Career & Technical Education High School in New York City. His journey from student to teacher, to Assistant Principal, and now long-standing Principal. Under his leadership, Edison has become a nationally recognized hub of college and career readiness, offering more than 13 industry-aligned CTE pathways, which reflects his unwavering dedication to educational transformation. Beyond Edison, Moses serves as a Master Principal and a Principal Innovation Fellowship coach, where he mentors school leaders and drives districtwide initiatives focused on innovation and equity. He also leads a Research and Development team that designs new teaching methods, pilots innovative programs, and integrates AI into instruction to empower both students and educators. A pioneer in AI-driven education, Moses led and co-taught the first AI Literacy initiative across Queens South High Schools, engaging students from 30 schools. This groundbreaking program culminated in students earning the Certiport Critical Career Skills – Generative AI Foundations certification, validating their skills in generative AI concepts, prompt engineering, ethics, and societal impact. By modeling how AI can be meaningfully embedded into teaching and learning, he has prepared both students and educators to thrive in a rapidly changing, AI-enhanced landscape. Today, Moses continues to champion innovation, equity, and empowerment. He develops AI-integrated curricula, builds teacher capacity, and forges partnerships with technology leaders. His vision is clear, preparing students and educators alike to succeed in a future shaped by AI.
