Maurice Bakley serves as Publisher of EdWeek Market Brief, Education Week’s business intelligence service for K-12 product and service providers. In this role, he oversees the team creating original reporting, actionable analysis and proprietary research to inform the K-12 business community. Maurice also leads Education Week’s overall revenue strategy and customer service offering of custom research, marketing solutions and recruiting for K-12 Districts, K-12 Industry and Higher Education.
Prior to joining Education Week, Maurice was President of FierceMarkets, a digital media organization serving a range of industries, including Technology, Telecom, Life Sciences, Healthcare, Marketing, Retail and Energy with publications in the US, Europe and Asia.
He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA in International Relations and German from Tufts University.
