Laura Bowen is a seasoned non-profit executive, with a passion for building diverse teams and delivering innovate ideas.Laura joined USTA Florida in 2011 and has served as executive director of the organization for the past seven years. In her role, Bowen oversees the operations of the organization and works with a team of volunteer leaders and staff to deliver on key growth strategies. Over the past decade, Laura has fostered several of the most successful outreach initiatives in tennis, including Tenis para Todos, Women in Tennis, #AMPLIFY, and various adaptive and wheelchair tennis programs. She is a vocal advocate for access and inclusion in sport, with a particular focus on creating more opportunities for women in leadership. Prior to joining USTA Florida, Laura established herself as a top voice in the real estate industry. She spent eight years as the director of executive communications for the National Association of REALTORS® in Washington, D.C., where she created and oversaw all communications for the association’s leadership team. Laura holds a bachelor’s degree from Princeton University, a DEI in the workplace certificate from University of South Florida and has been a certified Project Management Professional (PMP®) since 2013.
