Kartik Hosanagar is the John C. Hower Professor of Technology and Digital Business at the Wharton school where he was also the founding director of the AI center at Wharton. Kartik Hosanagar’s research focuses on the digital economy, specifically the impact of AI on consumers, business, and society, AI-human collaboration, and AI-powered creativity. He is an eleven-time recipient of teaching excellence awards at the Wharton School. Hosanagar was a co-founder of Yodle Inc., a venture-backed firm that was listed among the top 50 fastest-growing private firms in the U.S. He is a fellow of the INFORMS Information Systems Society and was previously a Department Editor at Management Science. Hosanagar also serves on the AI Advisory Council for the U.S. Department of Defense. He holds master’s and doctoral degrees from Carnegie Mellon University.
