With 15 years of experience in youth workforce development, Jillian has worked on internship and employment coaching initiatives across the UK, US, Bosnia, Vietnam, and New Zealand. Over the past seven years, she has played a key role in scaling Virtual Internships’ global reach, supporting more than 12,000 remote internships with 20,000+ host companies worldwide. Her work focuses on embedding internships into university curricula, aligning programs with accreditation standards, and examining how AI is reshaping early-career hiring, skills signaling, and workforce preparation. Jillian’s work centers on building scalable, evidence-based models that prepare learners for the future of work while helping institutions and employers adapt responsibly to technological change. She holds an MA in International Education from University College London.
