Jess Wang is the Chief Operating Officer of Presence, the leading provider of K12 special education technology and teletherapy services. Presence has supported over 10,000 schools nationwide, providing over 8 million essential IEP evaluations and therapy sessions through its network of 2,000+ licensed clinicians, including speech-language pathologists, school psychologists, and other clinical professionals. Special education teams in public, private, charter and virtual schools use Presence technology to deliver outcomes for students. The company is backed by Spectrum Equity, TPG’s Rise Fund and Bain Capital Double Impact.

Throughout her career, Jessica has focused on unlocking access to high-quality student services through education technology. She specializes in building and scaling nationwide networks that support tech-enabled service delivery, particularly at the intersection of national and state policy, in-person services, and digital infrastructure. As an operational leader, she integrates AI and emerging technologies into service models to strengthen human connection, improve efficiency, and expand reach for students and schools.

Prior to joining Presence, Jessica held senior leadership roles at 2U, Inc., where she built and scaled large distributed teams, launched new tech-enabled service offerings, and led enterprise-wide operational transformation initiatives to improve performance and long-term sustainability. She is also an advisor to several education technology startups and works closely with founders and investors navigating growth, governance, and scale.

Across her work, Jessica partners with executive teams and boards to align operational strategy with enterprise value creation, ensuring that innovation in education technology translates into measurable impact for students nationwide.
