Jeff Konishi, Chief Technology Officer, leads the Technology Division for Aurora Public Schools in Aurora, Colorado. He has more than 20 years of experience leading technology divisions and over 10 years of accounting experience. He leads the Innovative Technology Support, Innovative Classroom Technology, and Infrastructure Departments for the Aurora Public School District. As Chief Technology Officer, Konishi is responsible for all technology resources and tools, district data and metrics, and technology infrastructure for the district. Mr. Konishi comes to Aurora Public Schools with extensive experience in the public sector and non-profit organizations leading Technology Divisions for the City of Amarillo, the City of Englewood, Douglas County Libraries, and the American Water Works Association. He also has experience in the private sector in technology and accounting roles for banking, insurance, and retail corporations. Mr. Konishi has presented at many conferences to help lead technology integration into K12 environments. Sharing and collaboration at these conferences with others are meant to promote how technology can change the lives of all kids everywhere. He is also a board member of the Colorado Association of Leaders in Educational Technology (CALET). Mr. Konishi holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the University of Northern Colorado and a Master’s Degree in Computer Information Systems from the University of Denver.
