The Center was awarded a National Science Foundation (NSF) grant with Carnegie Mellon University and won the J-PAL Education, Technology, and Opportunity Innovation Competition.

His Leadership & Communication course won an innovation award from the Online Learning Consortium in 2017. Before WGU, Jason worked at Kaplan University leading the Office of Institutional Effectiveness, responsible for data analytics, assessment, and institutional research.
