Geordie Hyland is the President and Chief Executive Officer of the American College of Education (ACE) and is passionate about strengthening human capital and communities. ACE is an accredited, 100% online college specializing in high-quality, affordable programs in education, business, leadership, healthcare and nursing. ACE’s student body has grown to over 10,000 students and the institution was ranked #2 on Newsweek’s 2023 top online colleges list. Geordie’s education management experience spans Higher Ed, K12, workforce development, allied health, clinical healthcare, continuing medical education and remedial training in online, virtual reality, simulated, hybrid and in-person modalities. Geordie is a former Googler and graduate of Harvard University, where he received a bachelor’s degree in English and American literature as well as a master’s in business administration from Harvard Business School. He also received a master’s degree in industrial relations and personnel management from The London School of Economics and Political Science. Geordie lives in Tampa along with his wife Mercedes and two children.
