David Vinca

David Vinca is the Co-Founder and CEO of Spark Space, the AI writing tutor designed for students in grades 3–12 that helps them improve their writing, without ever writing for them. Spark Space is rapidly gaining traction among teachers across the U.S. and internationally, helping educators grade essays faster and give personalized feedback that builds real writing skills. Before Spark Space, David founded eSpark Learning, one of the most widely used adaptive learning platforms in U.S. K–8 schools. Under his leadership, eSpark grew to reach more than 25% of U.S. elementary schools and was recognized for its impact in transforming student-centered learning. David continues to serve on eSpark’s board. Earlier in his career, David led transformation and growth initiatives at ZS Associates, where he advised Fortune 500 companies on strategy, analytics, and organizational design. He began his career at Strategic Management Group, teaching finance and strategy to business leaders around the world. David earned his MBA with Honors from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Penn State University with a degree in Management and Economics. He also studied abroad in Economics and Management at Maastricht University in the Netherlands. A lifelong advocate for using technology to unlock human potential, David is passionate about designing AI that coaches, not replaces, human creativity and empowering every student to become a confident, independent writer.
