Antonia Rudenstine
Executive Director
reDesign, LLC
Antonia Rudenstine is the Executive Director of reDesign, partnering with leaders at all levels of the education system as they reimagine what learning can be–for young people and the adults who serve them. As one of the earliest advocates of competency-based learning, she co-leads reDesign’s portfolio of future-ready learning initiatives in partnership with schools, districts, and state agencies, as well as nonprofits and foundations. Prior to reDesign, Antonia designed and led two incubator programs that trained leaders to launch and lead learner-centered charter schools. She has supported the launch of over forty new school models, across the US. Antonia began her career in the 1990’s, as a high school teacher working with Special Education and multilingual students newly arrived in the US, and later co-founded a New York City high school. Antonia received her BA from Oberlin College, and M.Ed. and Ed.D. from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
