Ambrish Sinha

Ambrish Sinha is the Founding CEO at UNext Learning Private Limited, part of the Manipal Education & Medical group. UNext is an ed tech platform offering online courses and programs in the higher education space. UNext aims to solve for the twin problems of affordability and accessibility of good quality higher education for its learner community in the country. Ambrish has successfully straddled the corporate and start-up world when he ran the business side of Zopper, which built India's first hyperlocal marketplace and POS (point of sale solutions) for small retailers. Zopper raised ˜20 million USD from investors like Tiger Global, Blume Ventures and had a successful exit when a part of its business was acquired by PhonePe in 2018. Prior to this, he worked in the financial services sector and has held leadership roles at HDFC Life and ICICI Prudential. He is deeply passionate about technology and the impact it can create to transform businesses and community at large. He holds an MBA from TAPMI, Manipal and a bachelor’s degree in Economics (first class) from the University of Pune. He has also completed an advanced leadership and digital strategy program from INSEAD, France in 2018-19.
