Phil Walker

Phil is the Senior Vice President, Global Event Operations at GSV Summit. He brings 14 years of experience in exhibition and conference management, with a passion for events, operational excellence, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

His diverse background spans several sectors, including Healthcare, Shipping, Education, Technology, and Engineering. Over the past 4.5 years, Phil has been delivering industry-leading portfolios at Hyve Group, overseeing flagship events such as Bett, CWIEME, and Breakbulk across the US, UK, Europe, and Asia.

Before his tenure at Hyve, Phil managed conference and exhibition operations at IBC for 5 years, a large-scale broadcasting event in Amsterdam that attracts upwards of 60,000 visitors annually.

Phil graduated from King’s College London in 2009 with a BSc in Medical Biochemistry.
