Dr. Tim Stowe

Dr. Tim Stowe, appointed as the 8th Superintendent of Torrance Unified School District on July 1, 2020, has been with TUSD since 1992, starting as a substitute teacher and basketball coach. Rising from middle school teacher to various administrative roles, he became Senior Director of Secondary Schools in 2007, then Chief Academic Officer in 2013, and Deputy Superintendent in 2016. A TUSD graduate, Dr. Stowe earned degrees from the University of Redlands and USC. He resides in Torrance.
