Dr. Jason Van Heukelum

Dr. Jason Van Heukelum is Superintendent of Winchester Public Schools, with 27 years in education, including leadership roles in North Carolina and Bolivia. A former math teacher and principal, he’s led major improvements in school performance and teacher effectiveness. He has secured over $20M in grants for innovative programs and now guides WPS through its Empower 2025 strategic plan.
