Dr. Erikk D. Bonner

As Assistant State Superintendent at the Maryland State Department of Education, Dr. Erikk Bonner ensures statewide leadership, oversight, coordination, and direction of programs for the agency’s largest division. Under his leadership, the division ensures innovative access, equity, and opportunities for youth in critical programs and activities. Before his current role, he held executive leadership roles in Houston, Chicago, and Boston advancing equity and achievement in large school districts.
