Sunil Gunderia

Sunil Gunderia is the Chief Innovation Officer at Age of Learning, the company behind ABCmouse, a program used by 50M kids. He led the creation of a groundbreaking AI-driven, multi-patented personalized mastery learning system that power My Math Academy and My Reading Academy. 19 ESSA aligned efficacy studies have demonstrated that using these products lead to significant improvements in student learning outcomes. The impact, evidence, and efficacy of these products contributed to Age of Learning receiving the SIIA CODiE Award for Most Innovative Edtech Company. EdTech Digest recognizes Sunil as one of the top 100 influencers and he has received an Impact Award by the Choice-Filled Lives Network. Sunil is a Board Member of the Children's Institute, a nonprofit that provides head start and mental health services to 30,000 underserved children and families. He Chaired the Editorial Board for a research handbook on early childhood Innovation, has co-authored several papers, and has been featured in numerous media outlets. He is an advisor to the Edtech Evidence Exchange, and Educating All Students Alliance. Previously, Sunil was a General Manager with The Walt Disney Company in London, where he started and managed Disney Mobile in Europe and subsequently ran the global business. Sunil holds a B.A. in Business Administration and an M.A. in Accounting from the University of Georgia, as well as an M.B.A. from the University of Southern California
