Prerna Jhunjhunwala is the founder and CEO of Creative Galileo, India's largest kids' learning app for children aged 3-10. Creative Galileo was established to revolutionize early learning, ensure inclusive and equitable quality education, and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all. Her startup has garnered significant recognition and secured funding of 13.5 Mn SGD at a valuation of 53 Mn SGD from prominent Southeast Asian and Indian venture capitalists, including Kalaari Capital, Affirma Capital, and East Ventures.Creative Galileo's educational apps have achieved remarkable success with over 11 Mn downloads and the distinction of being one of the top 20 education apps on the Play Store in India. Prerna also founded Little Paddington, one of Singapore's leading preschools. She recently made a remarkable exit, selling the preschool to Affirma Capital, a Singapore-based private equity firm, after achieving an impressive 35 per cent EBITDA margin and a 35x return on capital invested- an exit of ~ 35 Mn SGD.An NYU graduate, Prerna moved to Singapore with a vision to modernize and enhance early childhood education. She believes that a child's future is not solely determined by grades but also by impeccable social, cognitive, and leadership skills.
