
Matthew Wunder is CEO, Superintendent, and Co-Founder of Da Vinci Schools, a Los Angeles charter network with six schools. Under Matt’s leadership, Da Vinci has developed innovative school models that embed college courses, career education aligned with employer needs, and competency-based education into the high school experience. He is dedicated to building high-quality, equitable schools and believes stronger alignment between K–12 schools, colleges, and employers is key to closing opportunity and skills gaps.
Matt serves on the Loyola Marymount University School of Education Board of Visitors and is a Pahara Institute Fellow, a Google GSV Education Innovation Fellow, and Schools That Can Trustee. He has also taught graduate classes as an adjunct professor in educational leadership, school business, and school counseling.
Matt holds a Master’s in Education, administrative, teaching, and PPS credentials from Loyola Marymount University, and a doctorate in Education Technology with a focus on service quality dimensions as indicators of school quality from Pepperdine University.
