Vikki Katz is an associate professor in the School of Communication and Information at Rutgers University. Her research focuses on how digital inequality affects access to learning opportunities and technology engagement in lower-income, working-class, and immigrant families before and during the COVID-19 pandemic. She previously served as a Senior Fellow at the Joan Ganz Cooney Center at Sesame Workshop and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the National Center for Families Learning and on the Advisory Board for the CPB-PBS Ready to Learn Program, a federally-funded program to support school readiness for young children.
