Victor Ye is the Co-Founder and Head Podcaster of UnTextbooked, a history podcast aimed to equip young people with power to ask curious questions about the world around us. As an undergraduate student studying Communication and Film at the University of Southern California, Victor is passionate about utilizing media as a means for building community and spreading ideas. Since its launch in 2020, UnTextbooked not only has been featured as a Spotify Next Wave Podcast and on the Apple "New and Noteworthy" list, but also has partnered with Penguin Random House Publisher Group for its third season to increase reach beyond its current presence in over 100 countries. He has been recognized as one of 40 teenagers changing the world and has plans to transition the podcast into an edtech media company. Prior to UnTextbooked, Victor ran an internationally recognized education NGO aimed to accelerate youth social impact projects while in high school, where he was recognized by the Royal Family for his humanitarian work and landed speaking roles on Nickelodeon and the Kelly Clarkson Show.
