ASU Local

Taylor serves as the National Director of ASU Local. In this capacity, Taylor oversees growth and operations to bring ASU’s world-class education to local communities. With this objective, she is guiding a team of educational experts expanding access to transformative educational opportunities and creating a new pathway to higher education.Taylor began her career as a researcher for the Ford Foundation at the School of Transborder Studies. From here, she continued her commitment to equity and access at Chicanos Por La Causa where she led strategic planning for a dynamic high-growth community development organization. In this experience, she advised growth strategies for 40+ lines of business and 1,200 employees which contributed to an annual impact of over 70,000 people directly served. Taylor is a double alumna of Arizona State University with a MA in Educational Policy and a BA in Communication. Her prior community leadership roles include serving on the Board of the Chandler Coalition for Civil and Human Rights, Si Se Puede Foundation, and as the Staff Liaison for ASU’s Chicano Latino Staff and Faculty Association. In 2015, Taylor was recognized as Chandler-Gilbert Community College Partner of the year for her efforts in leading a college-readiness program for high school students.
