Samuel Dorison is a national expert in artificial intelligence strategy and product deployment, with demonstrated expertise in sensitive settings such as education and mental health. He is the Cofounder and CEO at ReflexAI, a technology company that brings AI-powered educational tools to mission-focused organizations. ReflexAI’s tools improve training quality and reduce cost in training and quality assurance. In 2023, ReflexAI was recognized as a winner of Mission Daybreak, the Department of Veterans Affairs suicide prevention competition, for AI-powered simulations to more rapidly and effectively train responders on the Veterans Crisis Line. With support from Google, the organization also deployed HomeTeam – a tool to equip veterans to support each other with mental health challenges. Before ReflexAI, Dorison served as Chief Strategy & Innovation Officer at The Trevor Project, where his team’s work was recognized on TIME’s 100 Best Inventions of 2021. Dorison previously worked at McKinsey & Company and at Harvard Kennedy School. He graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Princeton University. He also holds an LLM from Cambridge University and an MSc from University College London, both as a Marshall Scholar. Dorison is heavily involved in causes that support families impacted by cancer. He serves on the board of Kesem and is a long-time rider of the Pan-Mass Challenge. Dorison lives in New York City with his husband.
