Southern New Hampshire University

My name is Samuel Campbell. I live in Waltham, MA, and I am 51 years old. I currently work at the Dudley Street Neighborhood Charter School in Roxbury, MA as the Dean of Students and Director of Culture and Climate. I received my associate degree in 2019 from SNHU and I am currently working on my bachelor’s degree in public administration. I am scheduled to graduate this year in June. My college journey has been anything but easy. I attended seven different colleges along the way but could never find the right fit until I found Southern New Hampshire University and the competency-based curriculum through a program called Duet in downtown Boston. It has been such a blessing. Since then, my college experience has been amazing! I must admit, I almost gave up, but Duet and SNHU gave me another chance and I feel incredibly successful. I am married, have a daughter and stepson, and three beautiful grandkids whom I love with all my heart. My mission in life is to help children and families find their way through educational and social/community support and I plan to work tirelessly until the job is done. My motto in life is, if I can help someone along the way find their way, then my living will not be in vain.
