Rebecca Shah is a partner and oversees client teams at ILO Group, a women-founded education strategy and policy firm that partners with education leaders, their teams, and education-focused organizations to move their visions forward and accelerate student outcomes. With nearly 15 years of experience in education, Rebecca is passionate about serving under-represented and underserved kids and brings expertise in project and change management with a focus on government systems. Previously, Rebecca served as a consultant and fellow to the membership of Chiefs for Change, overseeing member-driven projects. Prior to this, she served as chief of staff at the Tennessee Department of Education. She has served as director of academics strategy and performance at the Texas Education Agency and spent eight years at a national education nonprofit, the Data Quality Campaign, advocating for the use of data in education. Rebecca earned her master of public affairs from the The LBJ School at the University of Texas at Austin and her bachelor of science in Elementary Education and Human and Organizational Development from Vanderbilt University.
