Opelo Matome

Opelo heads the Global Education & Talent portfolio at Endeavor and is currently based in Toronto, Canada. Prior to joining Endeavor, she was a Data Analyst and Swensen Fellow in the Office of Strategic Analysis at Yale University. During this time she worked with clients across the finance, business operations, student affairs, and academic policy departments. Opelo has previously consulted for the Zambian Ministry of Higher Education on gender inequality and outcomes across the tertiary education sector. She also has experience designing and leading DEI workshops and programming. Opelo holds an M.Ed. in International Education Policy from Harvard University and a B.A. in Economics from Yale University. She was born and raised in Gaborone, Botswana.
