"Kimberly Merritt is an educational architect, committed to creating high-quality, innovative learning experiences connecting career, community and technology. She currently serves as Vice President for the ASU Learning Enterprise. She most recently served as co-founding Executive Director of ASU Local, a hybrid college program designed to bring higher education access to local communities. She began her career as a teacher in a large urban, title one school district and was a teacher and leader in the design and launch of many of the Da Vinci Schools award winning innovative school models. She notably partnered with the University of California, Southern New Hampshire University and community colleges to reimagine college access in local communities, and co-designed the Transforming Learning Collaborative’s National School Design Incubator which served schools around the globe in creating and redesigning school models.
