Kenza Bouhaj is passionate about human capital development in emerging markets, particularly in Africa and Latin America. She is eager to work to expand the access and quality of employment training programs through technology, by identifying employer needs and scaling good-quality delivery to job seekers. She started her career as a business analyst at McKinsey, where she completed assignments that build capabilities, from designing professional development programs to executing large-scale transformation initiatives. After two years at McKinsey, she transitioned to Generation, an education-to-employment NGO that recruits, trains and places job seekers into meaningful careers. As a Data & Impact Analyst, she has worked to build a strong data culture in the 12 countries where Generation operates, enabling data-driven strategic and operational decisions. She completed a summer internship with GSV ventures in 2021, researching the African EdTech landscape. Kenza is currently a joint degree student at Harvard Business School and Harvard Kennedy School (MBA/MPA). She holds a B.A. in Economics and Mathematics from Yale University, and is a proud graduate of African Leadership Academy.
