Juan Arenas

Since 2020, Juan Arenas has been Vice President of Open Education, Corporate Training and Content Production at Tecmilenio University. Tecmilenio is a higher education institution focused on training positive leaders, who have highly valued skills and abilities for the global market economy. Tecmilenio is an international pioneer for Positive Education and skills certification.His interest in education was born when he became a professor at Tecnológico de Monterrey when he was 21 years old. He joined Tec de Monterrey full-time 20 years ago where he was responsible for the Department of the Virtual University and Director of Adult & Continuing Education and the Southern Region. At Tecmilenio, he was responsible for Tecmilenio Operations (COO) from 2016 to 2020.His experience as a manager and consultant has been applied in the areas of international trade, organizational development, and corporate training in companies such as General Electric Services, Solectron Mexico, HP de Mexico, Galvak Mexico, Coca Cola, BBVA among others.Juan holds a BBA, MBA and M.Sc from Tec de Monterrey. He is internationally certified in Business Ontology and Family Business Consulting. He is a Business Advisor certified by the SAIOLAN organization in Spain. In 2021, Juan created Tecmilenio Skilling Center as a response to the skills gap in México and LATAM. He is a passionate learner.
