For over 20 years Jen has worked at the national state and local levels to bridge gaps between education policy research politics and practice to ensure that every student in every community gets an equitable and excellent education. Before joining PIE Network Jen served as CEO of ConnCAN a pacesetting model of effective state-level education advocacy. For years Jen was an active member of the PIE Network and is an alumna of the first Network Leadership Institute Cohort. Jen applies the hard-fought lessons she learned on the ground to build the Network's strength connectivity and impact and loves supporting the incredible Network leaders across the country. She began her career in Washington DC working in policy research and nonprofit leadership. Jen is a graduate of George Peabody College at Vanderbilt University and holds a Master of Public Policy from the McCourt School of Public Policy at Georgetown University. She serves on the Board of Directors of her local community foundation and of Achievement First Amistad Academy. Jen is mom to two daughters and one goofy dog and a proud Connecticutian.
