COO

Enuma

Eugine is the COO of Enuma, an education technology startup built on the mission to design exceptional autonomous early education programs to empower ALL children, including those with special needs and underserved, to become independent learners.

Since its founding in 2012, Enuma has distinguished itself with a unique design approach that focuses on self-directed learning, clear learning outcomes, and high retention of a wide range of early learners. Enuma’s flagship product Todo Math recorded over 9M downloads and has ranked #1 in the App Store Education/Kids categories in over 20 countries. In 2019, Enuma’  Kitkit School (a literacy and math application for children in developing countries) was named a winner of the $15M Global Learning XPRIZE competition, for attaining the highest learning gains and engagement in a 15-month long field test.

After launching Todo English early 2021, the team is aiming to become the leading digital early education brand in the East Asia consumer market; and the world’s first digital universal preschool and supplemental education program for the B2G market, starting with South East Asia with Enuma School.

Eugine oversees all aspects of the company outside of product development ¬– from strategy, finance, to HR. Prior to joining Enuma, Eugine was the vice president of strategy and learning at Education Pioneers and a management consultant with McKinsey. Eugine holds an MBA and a MA Ed from Stanford University, and BAs in Business Administration and Applied Statistics from Yonsei University. She currently resides in San Francisco with her husband and two children.
