Eric Berger is CEO / Co-Founder of Common Sense Networks a for-profit affiliate of Common Sense Media that certifies and provides kid-first creators with scale and support by connecting them with kids families and brands through age-appropriate experiences. Over 16000 titles are filtered through a proprietary child development framework and programmed in Sensical-branded apps and FAST channels for three distinct ages: preschoolers (2-4) little kids (5-7) and big kids (8-10). The organization also provides guidance on the appropriateness of content for children under 13 to partners including TikTok. For over two decades Berger has led digital services at major media companies. He was Chief Digital Officer and head of Direct To Consumer at Sony Pictures Television. Considered to be the architect of premium AVOD he built the Emmy-nominated Sony Crackle and its award-winning content slate including Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee. His Sony portfolio included global anime powerhouse Funimation and a Game Studio publishing titles such as Who Wants to Be A Millionaire Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy!. Prior to Sony he led Strategic Initiatives at Time Warner Inc. and was a Principal in the Strategic Consulting Practice at PriceWaterhouseCoopers.
