Brigham Tomco is the CEO and CoFounder of Emmersion, an EdTech SaaS company that proves language ability for job applicants and learners through an AI-driven adaptive language assessment platform. Emmersion has over 600 customers including many global companies and top universities.
Brigham is also the Chairman and Founder of Zylun Global, an investment holding company, with investments in companies including Emmersion, CoDev, Clear Insights Group, and ZG Properties.
Additionally, Brigham has a passion for Education, Mentorship, and Economic Development and sits on multiple boards including Utah Land Trusts Protection and Advocacy Committee, Presidents Advancement Council at BYU-Idaho, the Wolverine Fund at Utah Valley University and Utah SITLA and SITFO Nominating Committees. He was an Adjunct Professor at Brigham Young University-Marriott School teaching Financing New Ventures.
Prior to his entrepreneurial career, Brigham worked in NYC at Ocean Road Advisors and Meyer Ventures an $800+ million portfolio investing in public and private equities, hedge funds, real estate, venture capital, high-yield debt, and fixed income.
Brigham has played a founding role in 10+ companies in industries including education technology, offshore staffing/recruitment, market research, digital media, consumer electronics, and real estate. He earned his JD, MBA and Accounting degrees at Brigham Young University and an AA in Management from Ricks College.
