Anthony Showalter

Anthony Showalter is an experienced strategy and corporate development professional with a background in education technology. He co-founded and served as the Chief Operating Officer of Pear Deck, an education technology company that helps teachers create powerful learning moments for every student, every day — which now supports over 11 million students across the US. Since the successful acquisition of Pear Deck by GoGuardian in November 2020, he has led Corporate Development at GoGuardian and completed the additional acquisitions of Edulastic and TutorMe. Showalter has also held leadership roles at Haiku Learning, PowerMyLearning, and Echoing Green.
