In this session, Jonathan will critically examine the ongoing narrative around VR in education. VR can serve as a force multiplier in the classroom, and it is poised to become one of the more powerful tools in many teachers’ toolbox. However, there are still many gaps between what VR can currently do, what we claim it can do, and what students and teachers actually need it to do. He will describe what VR is already accomplishing in the classroom, what important questions are still unanswered, and how to strengthen the industry’s ability to serve the needs of all learners. A Q&A will be held as part of this session.
