The 10 Leaps toward Equitable Education: Shifts schools must make to ensure students thrive

Historically, schools have operated with a one-size-fits-all, industrial-model approach with little thought to students’ individual backgrounds or interests. The pandemic revealed that this system isn’t working for most students, and has not been working for some time. In this workshop, participants will be immersed in the key ways Transcend believes student experience must change so schools can prepare young people to thrive in and transform the 21st century. Participants will deepen their understanding of the 10 Leaps toward Equitable Education and how we can use student interviews to better understand how young people are currently experiencing those Leaps to inform design journeys.
