A New DARPA for PK-3: Building Equitable Assessments with Rapid-Cycle Innovation

Education assessments in the PK-3 space are ripe for innovation. Current widely-used assessment tools capture only a limited set of children’s knowledge and skills and were not developed with today’s diverse population of young learners in mind. This session brings together entrepreneurs, researchers, practitioners, and funders to discuss the promise of rapid-cycle research and development in this space in line with the principles of a DARPA (Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency) approach.
