Travis Key

Travis Key, a Michigan State University graduate in Packaging (B.S. 2007, M.S. 2012), showcased dedication academically and athletically as a walk-on for the football team, earning an athletic scholarship. His leadership as team captain and four consecutive academic All-Big-Ten team selections highlight his commitment to excellence.Post-college, Travis had a successful two-and-a-half-year professional football career in the NFL and CFL. In 2010, he transitioned to packaging, working at Fellowes Incorporated and Kellogg Company before becoming the Senior Director of Technical Services at WestRock.Beyond his career, Travis co-authored "Beyond the Gridiron," empowering student-athletes. He co-founded APEX Academy Inc., a non-profit, and is currently the Chief Operation Officer of Pro Athlete Community, expanding his impact in the sports community.Travis actively contributes to Michigan State University, serving as Co-President of the MSU Varsity S Club and participating in the Michigan State Packaging Alumni Association. Residing in Portage, MI, with his wife and four children, Travis continues to inspire with his extensive experience, dedication, and passion for positive impact.
